Can you offer more advice re: preceptorship programme having uniprofessional elements please?  

The tailoring aspect of preceptorship is important to personalise the preceptorship offer to the needs of the individual.  

This tailored approach should build on their personal journey into their profession, reference their experience and consider their personal career development.  

This could include profession peer support, networking or specific profession sessions as required by your workforce. 

How does this fit with professional frameworks such as Newly Qualified Speech and Language therapy competency framework and the BDA preceptorship framework? Will profession specific frameworks be becoming more aligned with the new AHP framework? 

The AHP Preceptorship Standards and Framework has been developed in collaboration with our AHP Professional Bodies and will run alongside any profession specific competency-based frameworks.
