The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Celebration Event - 7 August 2023
On 7 August 2023, NHS England hosted a celebration event for colleagues and stakeholders across England. The event celebrated and recognised Oliver's Training rollout progress, focusing on the 'nothing about us, without us' co-production values and ensuring its future success.
The event was attended by a range of stakeholders including, Approved Trainers for The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training, Paula and Tom McGowan, Integrated Care Boards, experts with lived experience of learning disability and autism, advocacy groups and many more. Lots of pictures were taken at the event of attendees who met Paula and Tom McGowan and celebrated The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism with us. Graphic notes
To capture and enable the celebration conversations, a graphic facilitator spoke to attendees and listened to speakers at the event.
