This report by Professor Sir Michael Marmot (a world leading researcher of health inequalities) looks at what progress has been made in tackling health inequalities in England since his landmark study Fair Society, Healthy Lives (The Marmot Review). It presents a stark picture of how the health gap has grown between wealthy and deprived areas.
