Statement of Main Terms and Conditions of Employment 

Employers identify gaps in their workforce and recruit and support returners to earn and return to work. A RtP Nurse/Midwife/Health Visitor is traditionally employed as a band 3 or band 4 with a guarantee of a band 5 post, once they have successfully completed the course and re registered with the NMC.

The total RtP offer per returner is £3,100 (NB does not include London weighting). NHS England will fund all course fees and test of competence fees and placement fees. Where a returner is employed and receiving a salary, the employer placement fee is £1,500.
