You need to be ready to show how you fit the job needs. Remember – you’ve already done this once - in your application- so look closely again at that, particularly the Supporting Information section.

Look again closely at the advert and the job description.

What are the job’s competency areas that you are likely to be asked about?

Try to have at least one solid STAR example for each, or great examples that illustrate one or more competencies.

So, for example, you may have run a programme or project that involved effective project and time management skills, that demonstrated strategic or analytical thinking, that gave you an opportunity to show effective teamworking and collaboration, or leadership.
