Our Delivery Plan for the east of England
Download our Delivery Plan to learn about our key strategic aims and objectives for HEE in the east of England in 2015/16.
Our Delivery Plan sets out our key strategic aims and objectives for HEE in the east of England in 2015/16 and is based on local service priorities whilst reflecting the national agenda. We have developed our plan through working with our local health partners including providers, commissioners, local authorities and higher education providers who make up our local health system. It details the delivery planning and review cycle together with the governance arrangements which will be adopted to support delivery.
In 2015/16 we will go further in ensuring the NHS in the east of England has the right workforce with the right skills, behaviours and values in the right place at the right time, first time. This includes improving the development and capability of the healthcare support workforce; ensuring we educate and train the nursing profession so it is fit for the future; delivering a workforce to help improve primary care; increasing the focus on mental health and its workforce and supporting the changes required to deliver the Bubb Review recommendations into care for those with learning disabilities.
With our partners we will continue to deliver for our patients - better care now, and in the future.
