Quality Conference 2016
On 9 December, we hosted our multi-professional quality conference. The event brought together professionals from all disciplines to focus on the quality of education and training being delivered across the region.
The line-up was exceptional this year with a real focus on the workforce being multi-professional. Two key speakers were: Dr Peter Carter OBE, Independent Healthcare Consultant who focussed on contemporary issues facing nursing and Marie Moore, HEE’s Quality Transformation Manager who outlined the quality strategy for commissioning and education.
In total 35 poster submissions were received covering three themes: Patient safety through learning; Providing support to learners and educators and Organisational culture and learning environment. All submissions were accepted and 12 were invited to be part of the programme. To read in more detail take a look at the related documents section below.
The conference ran like clockwork thanks to the efforts of the quality team who were supported by colleagues on the day. Check out this Storify for more details.
