Archive: Innov8 Chief Executive Event: “Developing Diverse Talent” 2014
Following the report published by Roger Kline from Middlesex University, ‘The Snowy White Peaks of the NHS’, highlighting the continuing lack of diversity in the leadership and governance of the NHS, Innov8 arranged this event to meet with the most senior leaders of healthcare in our region who are in a position to make a difference.
About the event
The aim of the session, held in September 2014, was to provide a safe space for NHS Chief Executives and senior leaders to reflect, discuss and take action to increase diversity of race and ethnicity in the leadership and governance of the NHS.
The workshop adopted the approach of Innov8 NHS which continues to facilitate greater engagement and ownership of diversity and inclusion to build an organisational culture that supports the future creation of a more diverse senior leadership across Yorkshire and the Humber.
