ERIC- The Education, Research and Innovation Committee
HEE in Yorkshire and the Humber regularly receives requests for support for educational, research and innovation interventions to enhance workforce training and improve patient safety. In fact, we actively encourage them.
The Education, Research and Innovation Committee (often abbreviated to 'ERIC') regularly brings together a panel to consider these requests. The panels are held quarterly, usually in March, June, September and December of each year.
To ensure the efficacy and relevance of any intervention it is important that we have a means to fairly assess any applications we receive. The process has to be consistent, transparent and meet agreed standards, to ensure that HEE is meeting its education mandate for the whole workforce.
To help achieve this, we have prepared 2 documents, and you can find both of them at the bottom of this page.
- A description of the standards we expect a proposal to achieve when it is being submitted to us.
- Our standard application form that guides you through these standards, to ensure everything is addressed.
