IV Therapy Passport Webinar – Marking Our Achievements, 21 September 2020

Event Location:

CapitalNurse is hosting the IV Therapy Passport Webinar – Marking Our Achievements on Monday 21 September 12:00 – 13:30.

The IV Therapy Passport is an agreed approach and a pathway through intravenous (IV) medication administration training and assessment. The passport enables healthcare professionals to transfer with their IV skills among organisations in London without needing to retrain.

In March 2020, the Passport became live and available to use across London, marking an exciting moment in time for nurses and midwives in the capital.

CapitalNurse is now taking a moment to share the Passport with colleagues across London, celebrate the power of collective action and say thank you to all those who have helped to shape and create the work.

This webinar will be of interest to heads of education, IV leads, directors of nursing, nurses and representatives from higher education institutions in London and across England. Join to hear presentations about the collaborative build of the work and to hear how the IV Therapy Passport is being implemented across London.

The webinar will be hosted by Michelle Johnson, Chief Nurse at Whittington Health NHS Trust and Executive Sponsor for the IV Therapy Passport, with a keynote from Chris Caldwell, Programme Director of CapitalNurse. Other speakers include:

  • Susie Scott, IV Project Lead, CapitalNurse
  • Ropo Olaofe, Nurse Education Practitioner and IV Lead, Barts Health NHS Trust
  • Sam Elliott-Elechnowicz, Pre and Post registration Nurse, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust
  • Laura Gilmore, Senior Teaching Fellow, Kings College London

You will be able to join the event in the MS Teams app or using a browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge). On the day, please join the webinar here.

Please share this announcement with your colleagues. If you have any questions about this event, please email capitalnurse@hee.nhs.uk.
