Maternity Support Workers: Realising potential to deliver confident, capable care for the future

As part of the ongoing programme of work to develop the role of Maternity Support Workers in England, HEE are hosting a series of regional events to inform the development of the Maternity Support Worker Career and Competence Framework.

The purpose of the events is to present the proposed framework and to invite and encourage input to inform further development from those who are working in maternity services.

We are seeking attendees across the maternity system including Maternity Support Workers, Midwives, LMS leads, Arm’s Length Bodies and Voluntary and Third Sector groups. 

The events are being held in the following locations. Registration from 10am, commencing at 10.30am-3.30pm

• London - 9 October. The Wesley Hotel, Euston Road, London.

• Birmingham -19 October, Macdonald Burlington Hotel, 126 New street, Birmingham.

• Bristol -1 November 2018, Holiday Inn, Bond Street, Bristol City Centre, Bristol.

• Leeds - 7 November 2018, Park Plaza Leeds, Boar lane, City Square, Leeds.
