Accuracy checking medicines: Pre and in-process checking within technical services

This study day will assist in the training and development of staff as accredited pre and in process checkers. The programme consists of attendance on this study day, work based learning, evidence collection and assessments to complete the full course. It is intended as guidance as a minimum standard in training staff undertaking accuracy checking in aseptic services and follows the Nationally Recognised Framework for Accreditation of Pre and In-Process Checking within Technical Services.

This training is open to all staff who meet the entry criteria. Application is by nomination from your manager. All candidates should be approved, nominated and supported by their manager, educational supervisor and employing organisations to undertake this training.
