Celebrating our people - 65 years of NHS workforce development

In celebration of the National Health Service’s 65th birthday, we look back at how the NHS has been developing people for 65 years with regard to training, education and workforce development.

HEE has created an infographic which highlights some of the key mile stones that have taken place over the past 65 years .

As part of the NHS 65th birthday celebrations, we’re compiling a hub of photos or stories so we can share how training, education and the workforce has changed in the NHS since its birth in 1948. Send your photos and stories to hee.communications@nhs.net.
