Apprenticeship and support workforce awards

31 March 2016

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex team ran their second annual apprenticeship awards on Thursday 17 March, coinciding with National Apprenticeship Week. Apprentices and the trusts developing apprenticeship schemes across the region came together to celebrate accomplishments and learn from each other. This year awards were also awarded to the support workforce’s unsung heroes, which recognised those who have worked above and beyond the call of duty, shown high levels of care and compassion, and excelled at working to improve the patient experience.

The awards were presented by Philippa Spicer, Local Director for Health Education England’s Kent, Surrey and Sussex team, Karen Stevens, Locality Manager at Skills for Care and Gavin Graham, Employer & Delivery Services Manager at the National Apprenticeship Service. Details of the winners can be found below.
