Colleagues honoured with Queen's Nurse award

Two of our colleagues in the Midlands and East region have been awarded the title of Queen's Nurse by the Queen's Nursing Institute (QNI).

Jackie Brocklehurst, Strategic Workforce Development Manager in the East Midlands, and Gill Beardmore, Primary Care Workforce Transformation Manager, also in the East Midlands, will be receiving their badge and certificate on 30 October at the QNI Autumn award ceremony in London.

The title of Queen's Nurse is available to individual nurses who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to patient care and nursing practice, and both Jackie and Gill are extremely proud to have been recognised and honoured to call themselves Queen's Nurses. We are just as proud to have them!
