GPN Conference sees launch of new video for promoting general practice careers

The second annual General Practice Nursing Conference took place on 1-2 March, led by HEE’s West Midlands team. The event brought together representatives from across the general practice community from the midlands and east regions, with the aim of inspiring general practice nurses; both those in leadership positions and aspiring leaders for the future. The conference included a wide variety of sessions including: updates on NMC revalidation, reflection and evidencing, and resilience in a changing environment.

The event was the perfect place to launch HEE’s new video and a version more localised to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough where the film was made. The film received great feedback with people keen to share with pre-registration students to show them what a great first destination a role as a GPN can be!
