HEE responds to GMC state of medical education and practice in the UK report

Professor Wendy Reid, Director of Education and Quality and Medical Director, Health Education England said:

We need to ensure we are always doing as much as we can to provide consistent and full access to training opportunities that meet the needs of both doctors and the service. Our medical education reform programme is enhancing the structure and delivery of postgraduate medical training so that doctors are supported and valued and we are leading work to improve both quality and experience for doctors in training.
