HEE welcomes new graduates

Today is Welcome Wednesday, it marks the day that thousands of newly qualified medical graduates start work in hospitals across the country.

Professor Wendy Reid, Medical Director and Executive Director of Education Health Education England said:

“I would like to welcome all the newly qualified medical graduates who start their training journey today.

“Health Education England is committed to making sure that they are fully supported and have access to the best possible educational support and supervision.

“These doctors are our future and we need to do everything we can to support them to provide the safest and highest quality care to patients and provide them with an outstanding training experience.”
