Learning Solution project reaches exciting new milestone in its development

8 January 2018

Health Education England’s (HEE) Learning Solution project has reached an exciting new milestone in its development as it aims to provide access to a full range of resources, guidance and educational innovations across the NHS, social care and higher education.

The digital project will strive to drive up the quality of education provided for health and social care professionals, promoting and harnessing innovations across healthcare.

The Learning Solution, which will be a digital platform,  will draw on best practice, talent and wider projects within and beyond the NHS which can also be shared, signposted, evaluated and developed.

This much anticipated project has now been given permission to move into the next development stage after successfully passing its Digital Service Standard Assessment.

Professor Liz Hughes, Director and Dean for Education and Quality London and East said,

This is a very exciting and much anticipated project for HEE. As well as being a resource for the wider health and social care workforce, we believe it will support and feed into the work that is taking place right across HEE.

The project will now enter the development stage following the feedback and recommendations provided in the report published from the 18 point Digital Service Standard assessment, which can be found on the Digital Health Blog.

The 18 point Digital Service Standard assessment is a mandatory assessment all public facing transactional services must satisfy to ensure that they are fit for use by the public.
