North west deanery integration project update 2

There is currently a major project underway to bring together the former Mersey and North Western Deaneries together in to one function within HENW. A series of design and delivery groups have met over the past few months and new ways of working are being developed across the organisation.

As part of the Integration Project there is a requirement to clarify HENW’s identity. As part of the Integration Project there will be single functions that operate across our Regatta and PP3 sites. In addition to this, the design and delivery groups will be looking as to whether certain functions could support a wider workforce in the future, i.e. non-medical.

Our external stakeholders will therefore now hear functions within HENW described as such, rather than using the former term ‘deanery’. For example:

• HENW Foundation School
• HENW Information Team
• HENW Workforce Team

HEE have issued clear guidance that the term ‘deanery’ is not to be used and this new naming convention adheres to this guidance. If you have any questions regarding the new naming conventions please do not hesitate to contact us.
