Workshop held to discuss important 'care navigators' role

Health Education England, working across North Central and East London, has held the first of hopefully many 'care navigators workshops', an exciting gathering of stakeholders from across our 'patch'.

The workshop looked at a new training programme developed by London Southbank University and commissioned by HEE. Topics discussed on the day included the role and definition of a care navigator as well as the gap in defining what are core standards and competencies for this important part of the workforce. There was a clear appetite for training and education to support this growing and important role.
