Stepping Up Programme
The Stepping Up programme is a leadership development programme for black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) colleagues who work within healthcare (the NHS or an organisation providing NHS care). It aims to create greater levels of sustainable inclusion within the NHS by addressing the social, organisational and psychological barriers restricting BAME colleagues from progressing.
Rosalind Franklin Programme
This nine month programme aims to help shape the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours of clinical or non-clinical mid-level leaders to help them become outstanding leaders, and for the NHS to develop inclusive and compassionate leaders working at all levels across the NHS to help improve patient care, people’s health and their experiences of the NHS. It is aimed at mid-level clinical or non-clinical leaders aspiring to lead large and complex programmes, departments, services or systems of care.
This free to access e-learning programme helps participants who are new to leadership gain a fresh perspective on their delivery of services and the impact they have on the patient experience.
Designed for those looking to move into their first formal leadership role or those new to first time leadership, this programme supplies the balance between theory and real workplace application.
It builds on people’s resourceful nature, enabling them to convert their practical experience into excellent leadership.
This programme aims to equip those in mid-level leadership positions with the confidence to drive lasting change and improve the patient experience.
The focus is on increasing resilience to meet the demands of working in high-pressured healthcare environments.
The Nye Bevan programme has been shown to increase individuals’ progression into executive roles by helping them perform better at board level.
Aimed at developing the best executive leaders, it offers support and learning to build resilience, confidence and capability.
Ready Now is a programme for aspiring BME (Black Minority Ethnic) senior leaders, looking to make their next move or take place on the board. Successful applicants will already have leadership experience as the programme is designed for leaders from under-represented groups that want to become senior leaders in the health or social care system.
