The NHS Leadership Academy have developed a suite of talent management resources to support effective talent management processes to enable the potential of NHS employees’ to be maximised.
Local Leadership Academies continue to work with a range of NHS organisations and staff to develop and refine our approach. The most frequently asked questions have been “where do we go to get started with talent management?” and “how do we access the right tools and supporting materials?”.
The NHS Talent Management Hub has been developed to provide a much needed resource and to be the online home for our supportive ‘talent management’ and ‘maximising potential’ materials.
Talent management building capacity programme
In March 2018 we launched two cohorts of the Talent Management Building Capacity Programme.
Commissioned by the NHS Leadership Academy and delivered in partnership with the Local Leadership Academies and Silvermaple, the programme focuses on developing the capacity and capability of NHS professionals with a responsibility for talent management on the following main themes, to support participants as they strive to identify, develop and deploy the system’s current and future leaders:
- Laying the Foundations for Talent Management
- Talent Tools and Techniques
- Tailoring your Talent Approach
- Nurturing Talent Together
