e-Learning for Healthcare
e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) is an online hub providing e-learning to educate and train the health and social care workforce, supporting patient care.
Working in partnership with the NHS and professional bodies nationally, our e-LfH programme develops and delivers e-learning that is quality-assured and available free of charge to all relevant users in health and social care 24/7.
With more than 10,000 e-learning sessions HEE e-LfH’s programmes cover subjects from audiology to anaesthesia, dentistry to dermatology, emergency medicine to end of life care, safeguarding children to statutory and mandatory training. The online training sessions enhance traditional learning, support existing teaching methods and provide a valuable reference point.
From August 2016 the e-LfH Hub and its thousands of e-learning sessions were added to the list of OpenAthens resources to make it easier for certain groups of the health and social care workforce to access our e-learning.
More information about OpenAthens and its eligibility criteria can be found on the NICE website.
