Different arrangements will apply for complaints received about HEE’s Executive Directors and/or the HEE Board, as follows:
- The Chief Executive will respond to any complaints about members of HEE’s Executive Team
- The Chair of the HEE Board will respond to any complaints about the Chief Executive
- The Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee will respond to any complaints about the Chair of the HEE Board
- The response from the Chair, Chief Executive or Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee as appropriate, will be final. Given the seniority of these respondents, there will be no facility for Stage 2 investigation for such complaints.
- If you remain dissatisfied following our final response, you can refer your case to The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.
