Board meetings and papers
We hold public meetings of the Health Education England Board regularly. In line with guidance on fighting the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and in the interests of protecting our service users, patients and staff, we are unable to hold any Board meetings in public at this time and meetings are now held using MS Teams. However, members of the public who wish to observe the meeting online can now do so by viewing a live stream of the meeting through YouTube. A link for the meeting will be included online at the same time papers are published to the website prior to the meeting.
Given the uncertainty as to how long the current restrictions will be required, the position set out above will remain in place until further notice. We look forward to welcoming back members of the public to our Board meetings as soon as the necessary steps to limit the transmission of COVID-19 are lifted. We will however maintain the live streaming of meetings as routine to ensure all interested parties are able to view the meeting without the need to travel.
Please note that dates and times may be subject to change, so please check back regularly for updates.
HEE’s Standing Orders required it to maintain a publicly available Register of Members' Interests. The Register contains, details of declarations of interest made by Board Members. At each meeting of the Board the Register is received and the any updates are noted.
Meetings will be held on:
18 May 2021
22 June 2021
20 July 2021
21 September 2021
We prepare draft notes after every meeting that are then approved at the next meeting by the Board.
Due to our aims to decrease paper waste, we will not be providing printed copies of board papers at meetings. If you do require a paper copy, please ensure you print the appropriate papers and bring them with you. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping to decrease our environmental footprint.
