Our 2016/18 strategy for nursing and midwifery in North West London has been designed to embed a system-wide approach to workforce development and education and training for these professions.

It has been shared with a sample of education providers and our patient forum for insight and comment.
The strategy has four key objectives:
- Developing the unregistered workforce
- Developing the pre-registration workforce
- Supporting employers to develop the qualified workforce
- Strengthening nursing through local and national agendas
