Chief Allied Health Professions Officer to visit the east midlands

23 January 2017

Suzanne Rastrick, Chief Allied Health Professions Officer at NHS England, will be visiting the east midlands on Wednesday 31 May and Thursday 1 June 2017.

The early objectives of the visit will be:

  • to raise awareness of the NHSE AHP Strategy across the East Midlands;
  • to showcase the strategy in action and how AHPs are supporting the STP plans;
  • to share our good practice in relation to education and training;
  • to raise awareness of the HEE Quality framework for AHPs; and
  • to highlight workforce challenges and how we have overcome them.

We are now looking for examples of the great work you are doing to pull together as a showcase for Suzanne. In particular we are looking for examples where AHPs are making a real difference to our patients' care and contributing to the transformation programmes across the east midlands.

If you are able to share and would be willing to support the visit, please let Jackie Brocklehurst know by emailing jackie.brocklehurst@hee.nhs.uk.
