First recruits for new Emergency Medicine training

We have recently recruited our very first trainee into our Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine Sub-Specialty Programme.  This is a new programme for us, which aims to formalise training in pre hospital critical care.  Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust (KSSAAT) will be the training provider who currently offer placements to trainees doctors working Out of Programme (OOP) or to those who are post Certificate of Completion of Training.

Parts of the training programme will be supported by various external organisations including South East Coast Ambulance Service, London Ambulance Service and the Children’s Acute Transport Service.
