Going that extra mile for cancer

Congratulations to our Coast to Coast cyclists, Robin Douglas, Hazel Ellis, Rachel Hardy, Graham Rutt, Angela Johnson, Bernard Groen, Ross Gingles and Richard Price, who completed their challenge of covering 130 miles and 13,500 feet of climbing all in aid of Cancer Research – With Bernard and Ross achieving the challenge in one day!
 
Staff used their C day on Friday to take part in the three day challenge and have been overwhelmed with the support and messages of encouragement.
 
Dr Graham Rutt, Director of the Postgraduate School of Primary Care said:

Four long-serving members of our school have been affected by cancer recently, so we decided to do our bit to raise money for Cancer Research. To date, we have raised more than £2,500, but we still need support to help us reach our target of £3,000.
