HEE funded programme shortlisted for national award

23 February 2017

We are delighted to announce that Connecting Care for Children (CC4C) and the work of its practice champions has been announced as finalists for the Patient Experience Network (PEN) awards under the category “Championing the Public” with the title Practice Champions - Improving child health across north west London. The PEN awards recognise best practice in the experience of care across all facets of health and social care in the UK.

Funded by HEE’s north west London local team’s PIE programme, CC4C is a paediatric integrated care model which has been used to improve the way children’s care is commissioned, delivered and experienced across north west London. It addresses the disproportionately high rates of paediatric A&E and paediatric outpatient attendance across the region.

Organisations across England, including NHS trusts, CCGs, non-profits, community organisations and GP surgeries submitted entries.

The National Awards Finals and conference will be on Tuesday, 21 March at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. To learn more about PEN and the awards, please visit the PEN website.
