HEE shortlisted by HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards for work across Cambridgeshire

5 April 2016

Health Education England has been shortlisted in the Workforce category of the 2016 HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards for work carried out through HEE’s Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Workforce Partnership in partnership with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG to develop the primary care workforce in the area.

The objectives of the Primary Care Workforce Development Programme focus on ensuring a sustainable workforce through recruitment, retention and return to practice programmes.

The programme looks at widening participation, apprenticeships, career development and greater engagement with those who may consider the area as a place to work, including the creation of a video, ‘Reach Your Potential as a General Practice Nurse in Cambridgeshire’.

The team will now deliver a more detailed presentation to a panel of judges before finding out if they have won at the ceremony on 24 May 2016.
