Physician Associate (PA) Careers Fair - Wednesday 15 March 2017

There was a great buzz on Wednesday 15 March as the University of Leeds and Sheffield Hallam University co-hosted the first Physician Associate Careers Fair event in Leeds. 

A range of providers including acute trusts, community trusts and primary care/CCGs were all present to meet PA cohorts from Leeds and Sheffield – all of whom will be graduating in the late summer 2017 and January 2018.

Organisations working with the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw (SYB) Faculty of Advanced Clinical Practice were well represented and spoke to over 50 PAs, describing ‘place based programmes’ which will give the broadest scope of practice through rotation, showing a joined up health and care ethos in the locality.
