South West Stakeholder Conference

The second annual HEE stakeholder conference in the South West provided a showcase for some of the exciting work taking place in health and social care education and training across the region.

Around 100 stakeholders attended the event in Taunton on 01 March 2017 which was opened by the Chair of the South of England LETB, Jane Barrie OBE DL, and was followed by the Star Awards in the evening.

There were presentations from a range of exhibitors including updates on Genomic Medicine Centres, the Apprenticehips Levy, diabetes prevention and Community Education Provider Networks (CEPNs).

Local Director Derek Sprague outlined the focus for 2017/18 including support to the STPs in the South West.
