Summit and awards aim to inspire the healthcare leaders of today and tomorrow
13 September 2014
The second annual KSS Leadership Collaborative Summit and Awards will be held on 27 November 2014 at the River Centre in Tonbridge.
A diverse and interactive programme has been planned to bring to life the experience of the patient and encourage empowerment of the patient voice.
Keynote speakers include Julie Bailey CBE, founder of Cure the NHS, Mark Doughty, Co-Founder of Centre for Patient Leadership and Roger Kline, co-director of Patients First. An exhibition featuring national NHS organisations, commercial partners and colleagues representative of Kent, Surrey and Sussex will provide attendees the opportunity to learn first-hand of innovative work going on in the region.
The summit will close with the Leadership Recognition Awards. The awards will celebrate not only those who provide exceptional care to patients (directly or indirectly), but also those who are role models for the next generation of NHS professionals. Additionally, finalists will showcase their inspirational work that is making a difference in our region.
The event is an excellent networking opportunity for all leaders and aspiring leaders in healthcare within Kent, Surrey and Sussex who wish to support the system to deliver better healthcare for the public.
