Dr Navina Evans, Chief Executive, Health Education England (HEE) this week joined journalist James Ashton to discuss life at the helm of a leading NHS organisation, the NHS workforce challenge, treating patients and her journey to chief executive. 

Hear Navina set out HEE’s remit, outline it’s work to support the NHS in dealing with COVID-19 and how it is supporting the NHS in tackling current and future workforce issues. 

James Ashton has been a financial journalist for more than 20 years. He was City Editor and Executive Editor at the Evening Standard and Independent titles and before that City Editor at the Sunday Times. For his podcasts he talks to high profile leaders from a range of top UK organisations to discuss how they learnt to lead, the challenges they face every day and the advice they offer to others.
