Population Health and Health Inequalities Hub Discovery Workshop - Report

The vision for the programme is to establish a centre of excellence for population health and health inequalities learning.

We are working on a Population Health and Health Inequalities Hub project to provide a virtual platform to support the education and training of health and care workforces and those in a position to influence the health of the public in population health, prevention and health inequalities. The aim is that the hub will become the go-to place for anyone working in the health and care sectors, including the voluntary sector, to find resources, training offers and education opportunities that will help them in their role to deliver interventions that drive improvement in population health outcomes and tackle inequalities.

We held a discovery workshop on 11 July 2022 with end users of education and training, and some system leaders, to seek their views on the vision of hub, but also on education and training resources in population health and health inequalities in general. This report summarises the discussions and highlights the main themes that emerged during the discovery work.
