AHP Student self-care resource
Studying to become an Allied Health Professional can be challenging. There are many demands throughout the academic year whether in the form of lectures, essays, exams, placements and more. On top of this we are trying to balance our family and social lives.
Self-care is important in managing the demands that present themselves whilst studying to become an AHP.
The following resource has been created by students on placement with HEE for all AHP students across London to promote self-care and well-being. The information has been collected from a survey and a series of workshops in which AHP students shared their advice, top tips, and favourite resources regarding self-care.
Studying to become an Allied Health Professional (AHP) can be busy! We face many demands throughout the academic year including lectures, exams, essays, placements and more. On top of this, we are trying to balance our personal lives and time spent with family and friends.
