Using the skills I’m learning through the Fellowship, I’ll be able to work alongside Public Health specialists in a meaningful way not only to treat, but to assess the root causes of, and help prevent, poor health in the future.

Blog by Kelly Holehouse, currently working for the Integrated Musculoskeletal, Pain and Rheumatology Service as a Physiotherapist, East Lancashire NHS Trust and joined the first cohort of the Population Health Fellowship in 2020.
Working together with these experienced public health practitioners, as well combining efforts and sharing results of a detailed literature search with colleagues at the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust, (who were completing similar work regarding post-covid syndrome), enabled me to gain vital insight to the process of collaborative and clinically driven research.
Interview with Ahmad Saif, currently working as a GP at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and as a specialty trainee in Rehabilitation Medicine at Thames Valley Deanery. Ahmad accounts his time on the first cohort of the HEE Population Health Fellowship in 2020.
The fellowship was an opportunity to combine my clinical experience in primary and secondary care by incorporating population health.

Blog by Carolyn Royse, currently qualified as a registered prosthetist/orthotist and now specialises in orthotics and the diabetic foot. Carolyn joined the first cohort of the Population Health Fellowship in 2020.
The fellowship has opened doors for me to widen my influence and has made me consider my practice and how what I do relates within a much wider system.
