Midwifery Learner to Registrant: The Breadth of Opportunity in Midwifery - Wednesday 2 November

This HEE collaborative event will be showcasing the range of exciting opportunities available to those who embark on a midwifery career. In addition, it will offer support on and how to successfully transition from learner to registrant and beyond.
Join us at this interactive event, on Wednesday 2 November between 11:00 and 13:00, with speakers from our national and regional teams, learners on programme and newly qualified midwives to hear about:
- Learning in an excellent quality environment
- HEE supports the review of quality placements to inform areas of good practice and areas for additional support. What does good look like?
- Transitioning to the workplace
- How retention is being supported to assist our registrants throughout their careers
- Professional development for midwifery
- National update on the development of the midwifery competency and career framework to support continual professional development from novice – enhanced- advanced- consultant levels of practice
This webinar aims to include an audience of midwives, student midwives and those in education.
