HEE appoints Regional Head of Allied Health Professions in North East and Yorkshire

HEE is pleased to announce Claire Arditto has been appointed Regional Head of Allied Health Professions (AHP) working across the north east and Yorkshire.

Claire brings with her a wealth of experience from working as a Chartered Physiotherapist for 28 years. She joins from previously being the Trust AHP Strategic Lead and General Manager at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust focussing on operational and strategic leadership, and delivery of key AHP professional and strategic workforce priorities. She is passionate about the AHP professions and has worked extensively at both a national, regional, and local level, working collaboratively with Higher Education Institutions, Providers and other sectors. Claire has a Masters Degree in Health Sciences, has been a member of the Council of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy since 2015, (recent past Vice-Chair) and is a Certified leader in Quality Improvement methodology.

Claire said “I am delighted to be joining HEE NEY on secondment as Regional AHP Lead. I am passionate about promoting and developing our AHP workforce and am really looking forward to working with colleagues from across the region.”

Claire will officially commence in role on 20 September 2021 and we look forward to welcoming her.
