Regional Enhancing Practice Learning Symposium

The Education Transformation team (Workforce Training and Education Directorate, NHS England – North West) are hosting a Regional Enhancing Practice Learning Symposium in October this year.The symposium will run over two mornings – on the first morning (Wednesday 18 October) the team will be having an in-person event focused on practice learning programmes and projects. The second morning will be a virtual event focused on the HEI Simulated Learning Environments programme.

Due to limited spaces for Morning One, at the moment we are inviting specific contacts with a view to ensure a reflection of the region. |
At this in person event, delegates will hear about practice learning approaches and examples of best practice / innovation in each of the three ICB areas across the NW. They will also be addressed by the Chair of the NW Nursing and Midwifery Student Council. There will be a focused table discussion regarding ongoing practice learning challenges and pressures, with opportunities to consider some solutions. |

At this virtual event each of the eleven North West based Higher Education Institutions involved in the Simulated Learning Environments Programme will update delegates on the progress of their projects, as well as the successes and challenges of the programme. There will also be a panel discussion about simulated practice learning, which stakeholders are invited to submit their questions for ahead of the event. |
