Recovery Navigation for 999 mental health patients

In collaboration with the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWAST), Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care System (BNSSG ICS), and leading mental health charity, Second Step, we have partnered to support mental health patients with recovery navigation to more holistic support options, such as social prescribing.

This WT&E funded project aims to upskill and educate the Allied Health Professions workforce about the differences and similarities between recovering navigation and social prescribing, whilst developing a referral pathway in collaboration with SWASFT's mental health team.

A memorandum of understanding and role description have been developed and Second Step will advertise for a Senior Recovery Navigator to support the project during April 2023. Contact us for further information.
