Talent for Care Awards across Yorkshire and the Humber
20 March 2017
On Friday 10 March we held our 7th annual celebratory Talent for Care Awards during National Apprenticeship Week to celebrate NHS Apprenticeships and the Support Staff workforce from across Yorkshire and the Humber.
180 guests attended The Guildhall, Hull (City of Culture 2017) including our key note speakers Laura Roberts, Director (North) and Councillor Sean Chaytor, Lord Mayor of Hull.
We were keen to use the awards event to promote support staff learning opportunities and highlight the many success stories and benefits that investment in training and development of this group of staff makes to at an organisational level but more importantly to patients and communities. It was also a showcase for NHS Apprenticeships across the region, and recognises the continued enthusiasm and commitment of the many stakeholders and colleagues who are involved in support staff development.
