Applying for Psychological Training event

Our Applying for Psychological Training event with the South West Psychological Professions Network saw the biggest turnout, with over 170 attendees.

The event focused on the application journeys for several roles including Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner, Education Mental Health Practitioner, Clinical Psychology, and Family and Systemic Therapy, alongside a talk on an Expert by Experience perspective on selection.

All speakers were directly involved in the selection and interview processes, speaking about developments in the professions, including widening participation and positive action initiatives.

The event received excellent feedback, with an average rating of 4.75 out of 5 stars, along with positive comments on the variety and quality of the speakers.

The Expert by Experience talk was particularly popular, with one attendee saying that “it was a very valuable and necessary aspect of the talk”.
