Less than Full Time Training: Paediatric Dentistry Pilot

Unlike current LTFT options, these posts are advertised and offered at 0.6WTE alone, removing the need for applicants to apply to a Full-Time training post and apply for LTFT once appointed. 

The rationale emerged from the concept of widening access to specialty training opportunities. Trainees appointed to LTFT posts may use their non-contracted days to engage in clinical or non-clinical activities e.g., continuing to work in general dental practice or salaried services, or undertaking other personal responsibilities. 

Eligibility 

This is open to all dental specialty trainees interested in Paediatric Dentistry.
