The Annual Report gives an overview of activities undertaken nationally to meet the Public Sector Equality Duty, HEE Vision for Diversity and Inclusion and demonstrates how we are addressing them along with improving the culture of the organisation and making it a diverse and welcoming organisation to work for.
It provides a summary of our Diversity and Inclusion related information and activities for 2021-22 as well as identifying highlights and trends. Furthermore, the report provides an update on the progress made and setting out achievements and emerging themes structured around a progress update against our Five National Diversity and Inclusion Actions.
We have a responsibility to embody the best of the NHS values. The way we act matters within HEE, in our interaction with our partners, and in our contact with the students, trainees, healthcare staff and the public. The Annual Report demonstrate how we are developing a culture to meet our organisational Values and Behaviours of Responsibility, Confident, Inclusive and Fair.
