Trainees trained
- 104,741 Doctors trained in 10 years
- 23,907 of which were GPs (with potential for more prior to 2016 – Legacy systems will not count many completers from then).
- 124,368 Nurses trained in 10 years
- 17,658 Pharmacists trained in 10 years
- 4,309 Dentists trained in 10 years
- 2,273 Dental Care Practitioners trained in 10 years
- 164,091 Allied Health Professionals trained in 10 years
In addition to
- 114,175 Apprentices placed since 2016/17
- All 350 NHS careers now have apprenticeship routes
- Innovative new roles: 10,911 Nursing associates starters in 2020-2022 and 5,228 Medical associates starters in 10 years
- Return to practice: 5,357 starters returning to practice training in 10 years (with gap in data for 19/20, and non-nursing not known from 19/20 onwards yet)
- Blended Learning: 600 starting blended learning nursing degrees in 2020-2022
- Workforce growth: 73,305 full time equivalent net growth of additional clinical service staff over 10 years
