Health Inequalities
What are health inequalities?
Health inequalities are differences in health across the population, and between different groups in society, that are systematic, unfair and avoidable.
The South West Population and Public Health Academy in partnership with NHS England, Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and UK Health Security Agency have been delivering a series of webinars with a focus on supporting the reduction of health inequalities across the region.
The health inequalities webinars cover a wide variety of topics aimed to increase and consolidate existing knowledge and understanding; and provide examples of innovation and best practice; practical tips; and resources.
