Be a voice for students and preceptees in the region

18 October 2023

Student quality ambassadors

Nursing, midwifery and AHP students in the east of England have a unique opportunity to share their knowledge and give feedback on regional projects as student and preceptee (newly qualified) quality ambassadors.

The roles for student quality ambassador and preceptee quality ambassador are a fantastic development opportunity where you will work with peers across the region and NHS England Workforce Training & Education (WT&E) directorate colleagues.

The group meet online monthly to hear updates on projects and feature topics in the region, as well as holding discussions. Ambassadors will potentially be involved in future regional work or project activity.

Involvement will also ensure student and preceptee’s voices support the region’s ‘RePAIR’ workstream that aims to improve the student experience and staff retention.

The role is a great developmental opportunity for both students and preceptees open to all nursing, midwifery and allied health professionals from all qualification routes, inclusive of apprenticeships and return to practice.

A recommendation of joining as an ambassador should be sought from your university as a student, or from your employer as a preceptee.

Please complete the short form to put yourself forward, or contact Paul Sewell, RePAIR fellow for East of England at: paul.sewell2@nhs.net
